Car commercials are pretty big productions. It takes a lot of effort to capture all the cool angles of a vehicle on the go, and generally, the type of vehicles that do that are big trucks with cranes attached to them. But, Hyundai got an idea: why not film the new Sonata, with a Sonata?
To do this, they rigged a crane on the roof of a fellow 2015 Sonata, and equipped it with all the cameras and studio gear needed to create a cool looking car ad. Of course, they had to ensure that the roof was reinforced so it could hold the big, swooping crane, and it did, to the surprise of many people involved in the process.
Thankfully, Hyundai put together a video that shows the process, and we can all be amazed. It shows us the quality of the Sonata and the rest of the new Hyundai lineup at Atlantic Hyundai in West Islip, NY.
