Free Comic Book day is an annual event meant to encourage new readers of comics and graphic novels, as well as helping local small comic shop businesses keep the lights on.  Thanks to its popularity, what once originated as as a North American only event, the Free Comic Book Day movement has expanded to a global audience!  Folks can use a helpful webform their postal code or address to find a US or Canadian based shop, or click the link to find global resources.

Today is National Nurses day.  While we appreciate our medical care providers all day, every day, year round, we’re always glad for an extra day to highlight them a little more.  Today we’re going to be sharing some tips that will be useful for travelers on the road, and can help you no matter where life takes you.  These tips and tricks or suggestions cannot replace the professional care of emergency services or medical professionals, so please be sure to always call 9-1-1 and seek hospital care in emergency.
