What is a Hyundai N Vehicle?

The N and N-LineModels of Hyundai vehicles are high performance automobiles built for the discerning car enthusiast. They’re developed and designed in the Hyundai Research and Development center in Namyang. Then the cars move to the Nürburgring track in Germany for a rigorous series of tests to measure the performance and functionality. These vehicles are designed to give you a vehicle with plenty of Daily Driver potential, but enough performance under the hood to go nose-to-nose with performance racing vehicles of the highest quality.

What is the difference between N Models and N-Line Models?

N Models are created for customers looking for high performance, with the most powerful engines Hyundai has to offer, and plenty of visual and audible aesthetics such as sleek lines and the crackling pops of the exhaust. They’re engineered for maximum performance driving, and have top notch suspension, transmission, steering, and brakes. All elements of this line are fully customizable, and denoted with a stylized N badge. N Models include the i20N, i30N, i30 Fastback N, Veloster N, Elantra N, Kona N.

N-Line Models have extra sport train and design elements to boost not only aesthetics but also aerodynamics. These cars have unparalleled agility, ridiculous power, and the best handling for agile racing on hairpin turns and the toughest of tracks. The N-Line is all about safety, speed, and serious technology under the hood, offering drivers great performance with a look that’s slightly less sporty than N Model vehicles. N-Line Models include the i20 N Line, Elantra N Line, i30 N Line, Sonata N Line, KONA N Line, Tucson N Line.
